    By registering, participants are consenting to have any comments and the personal experiences provided posted on the Letstalknaturalresources site. All comments submitted will be reviewed prior to posting to ensure that any content that identifies another individual or involves the use of inappropriate language/behavior will be removed. By choosing to proceed with the questionnaire participants are providing consent for Natural Resources Canada to collect and use the personal information disclosed by them while responding to the questions.

    Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is subject to the Privacy Act and is committed to protecting the privacy rights of individuals and safeguarding the personal information under its control.

    With this national stocktake, NRCan is seeking your feedback for the purpose of gathering perspectives and views of diverse geospatial data producers and users to broaden its understanding of challenges and opportunities to geospatial data management and use in the future. CGDI requires you to provide your name, email address, personal views and opinions as well as any other additional information you disclose while sharing your personal experience or filling in the questionnaire. Please note that the comments you enter in the ‘Share your Stories’ and ‘Join a Discussion’ should not contain any sensitive information and please exercise caution when providing comments to protect your privacy and the privacy of others. All comments submitted will be reviewed prior to posting to ensure that any content that identifies a third party or involves the use of inappropriate language/behavior will be removed. 

    Natural Resources Canada will summarize the collected information in a report that will be published online in the Spring/Summer of 2025 and used to inform Natural Resources Canada policies and other public bodies or council involved in the CGDI. Your name and contact information will be used to contact you if you requested to be informed about future development in the consultation and the results or if we would like you to provide us with more insight about the future of Canada's Geospatial data Infrastructure.
